Emily Dickinson is one of the most famous woman poets in history. However, her works are very dissimilar to other poetry that was published during her time. Dikcckson’s style was that of her own. She oftentimes odd inversions, such as the use of adverbs with verbs, adjectives with verbs as nouns, and omission of auxiliary adverbs. She often constructed her works according to Latin rules.
